ever so aware
a poem of pondering the Savior's death & of pondering being with Him in His suffering
hey there & happy day! I’ve never posted my poetry or written pieces on here before, but I have been so inspired to create with the Lord & to add it to my blog after enjoying reading other people’s pieces on here as of late. pretty please let me know if this is something you would want me to keep doing, & I hope you enjoy reading it <3

ever so aware. | Ansley Claire
if I was there, would I have been aware, aware that that was my Jesus, my Savior hanging there? in blood, in pain & tears, could I have known? would I have said? Mary wailing, grasping at the Son's feet - but would I have hid in the crowd, veiled in fear? or would I have desperately tried to be in His place, knowing it was I who belonged up there? on a wooden cross displays a mere carpenter, or so they say. would I have been aware & unashamed to proclaim that this man was my most intimate friend & the fulfilment of the prophecies we hold so dear? out of the cross, He tore the veil. & lifted up His perfect spirit on a sinners cross for all to view, so that we all may know love, but would I have been aware? or, too, in bold agony for my bridegroom? but I am not there, on Golgotha with Jesus. I am here with Him. & oh how I'm aware! aware of His love for me so deep, flowing like a river. aware of my need. aware of how it was meant to be me. to take the cup. to drink from it. to suffer. to die. I am here, aware. picking up my cross for my Jesus, ever so aware.
until next time & with love,
ansley claire

I believe that everyone should have access to encouragement from a sister in Christ, so Tuesday Mornings is, & will stay, a free publication. however, if you feel led to support my Kingdom work with a little treat:
the prayer mailbox (in progress!) is a quiet place for you to leave a prayer. I’ll be reading each one of them & holding them in prayer with you. some prayers are meant to be shared & held. if you feel lead, the mailbox is open (for now, you can leave a prayer in the comments or email me 💌 strongansleyclaire@gmail.com).
make sure to check out the blog’s Instagram & TikTok! I have so much fun on my socials! (pssst…any image that is not taken by my camera is found on Pinterest).
also, pretty please tell me your thoughts about this post, what you’re learning in your faith walk, or just whatever is on your mind - I pinky promise I want to know!
I hope each of you has a very happy rest of the week! praying for you! peace! thank you for being here & I hope to see you again soon! 🕊️ I love you so much & so does Jesus Christ!
